CCJJ collaborates with many key local, state, and federal partners with the goal of expanding current data capabilities for Utah’s criminal justice systems. Because CCJJ’s central goal is to use data to drive the creation of sound policy and practice, data partners are essential to ensuring we have the information we need to answer the most pressing questions. By working in partnership to gather and analyze data CCJJ can respond proactively to some of the most current and pressing issues impacting criminal justice in the state. In this sense, working in partnership allows us to make research and data informed decisions that ultimately improve the efficacy of criminal justice systems while increasing safety in our communities.
